Ashwamedha Samajik Sanstha
Ashwamedha Samajik Sanstha is a Nashik-based non-governmental organization founded in 2009 by Shri Kailas Vasantrao More. The organization works across rural Maharashtra with a focus on rural development, education, women's empowerment, and environmental conservation.
Through grassroots partnerships with local communities, government bodies, universities (such as YCMOU), media houses (Lokmat, Sakal), and financial partners (Ujjivan Small Finance Bank), Ashwamedha Samajik Sanstha undertakes initiatives aimed at improving village quality of life, advancing tribal education, and nurturing sustainable ecosystems.

ग्रामीण व वंचित समाजातील प्रत्येक नागरिकाला स्वावलंबन, शिक्षणाची संधी, आरोग्य सुविधा आणि शाश्वत रोजगाराची जोड देऊन आत्मनिर्भर बनवणे.

Under 'Aaple Paryavaran Aaplya Hati', supporting seed-ball drives with 21 indigenous tree species (20,000+ seed balls with YCMOU), afforestation, and water table recharge.

Strengthening education across 150+ schools & Anganwadis in tribal Jawhar (Palghar) & rural Niphad (Nashik) with free Digital India smart learning kits and hygiene kits.
Smart Village (VIS) & GIS Mapping
Empowering Panchayats with Village Information Systems, GIS digital mapping, groundwater strategy, and soil health cards for precision rural planning.
Grassroots Governance & Leadership
Promoting effective rural leadership through jury involvement in Lokmat Sarpanch Awards, felicitating Sarpanches across 13 development categories.
Women Empowerment & Self-Help
Facilitating micro-finance literacy, Self-Help Groups (Bachatgats), skill development, and self-employment avenues for women across rural Nashik.
Self-Respect & Dignity for All
Ensuring marginal, underprivileged, and tribal communities gain equal access to education, dignified employment, and social welfare programs.

Hon. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari formally commended Ashwamedha Samajik Sanstha for creating the benchmark action research report 'आत्मनिर्भर जागर' (Aatmanirbhar Jagar). The project outlines sustainable village micro-planning, skill education, and livelihood generation for tribal communities across Maharashtra.
